Category Ball Valves
The Shoritsu FBV-3 Series is a three-piece, full bore firesafe ball valve designed for on-off isolation in large bore pipeline service across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas operations, petrochemical processing, and critical industrial applications. Metal-to-metal secondary seating ensures zero downstream leakage in the event primary soft seats are compromised under fire exposure, in full compliance with API 607 and ISO 10497.
Features
- Certified firesafe performance to API 607 and ISO 10497, with metal-to-metal secondary seating maintaining effective isolation if primary seats are degraded or destroyed under fire conditions
- Three-piece split body design allowing complete in-line seat and seal replacement without removing the valve from the pipeline, reducing maintenance time and downtime significantly
- Available in duplex stainless steel for sour service, corrosive fluid, and offshore applications where higher strength and corrosion resistance are required
- Actuator-ready stem with ISO 5211 mounting pad compatible with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators across the full size range
- Full documentation package including material mill certificates, hydrostatic pressure test records, and fire test certification supplied with every unit
