The Shoritsu DCV-W Series is a dual plate, wafer style check valve designed for efficient backflow prevention in pipelines where compact installation space, low pressure drop, and maintenance-free operation are required. Two spring-loaded plates open symmetrically under forward flow and close rapidly when flow stops or reverses, providing positive backflow prevention with minimal slam and water hammer risk.
The wafer body profile sits directly between pipeline flanges without the need for a full flanged valve body, significantly reducing face-to-face length and overall system weight compared to swing type check valves of equivalent size.
