Category

The NVT Tube Needle Valve is a one-piece forged SUS316 stainless steel needle valve with double-ferrule compression end connections, designed for precise flow rate and pressure regulation in instrumentation, power generation, and process control applications where direct tube connection is required. The double-ferrule end eliminates the need for threaded adapters or additional fittings between the instrument tubing and the valve body, creating a compact, leak-tight, pull-out-resistant joint directly on the tube OD. The tapered needle-to-seat geometry provides stepless, accurate adjustment of flow across the full stem travel, with a locking nut to fix the stem position against vibration-induced drift. Constructed entirely in SUS316 with a Viton O-ring, the valve offers strong resistance to corrosion and chemical attack across the -25°C to +180°C operating temperature range, making it well suited to aggressive process media and outdoor or marine instrument installations.

Features

  • One-piece forged SUS316 body delivers superior strength, dimensional consistency, and corrosion resistance compared to multi-piece or sand-cast body constructions, with no internal joints or weld seams that could become leak paths in service
  • Double-ferrule tube compression end connection provides a leak-tight, vibration-resistant seal directly onto the tube OD in metric sizes from 6mm to 12mm and imperial sizes from ¼” to ½”, covering the standard instrument tubing dimensions used across process and power plant installations
  • Tapered needle-to-seat design enables stepless, precise adjustment of flow rate and pressure across the full stem travel range — delivering calibrated low-flow metering capability that ball valves and on/off valves cannot replicate in instrumentation and gauge isolation service
  • Viton O-ring provides reliable sealing performance across a broad chemical and temperature spectrum, maintaining elastomeric integrity from -25°C through +180°C in hydrocarbon, steam, and chemically aggressive process environments
  • Locking nut secures the needle stem at the selected set position, preventing unintentional flow adjustment caused by vibration, accidental contact, or thermal expansion cycling — maintaining the calibrated setting over extended service intervals
  • Reliable airtight closure at full shut position allows the valve to serve as both a precision flow control device and an isolation valve for instrument maintenance, gauge removal, and instrument loop depressurisation without requiring a separate block valve in the tubing run
